Two generations of homes, two kinds of plumbing
San Marcos splits neatly in two. The established neighborhoods — Lake San Marcos, Richmar, the streets around Palomar College — carry 1960s–80s plumbing: copper under slabs, cast iron drains, water heaters tucked in tight garage corners.
